Randy Whitacre
Randy Whitacre joined W. L. Butler Construction, Inc. in 1998 and has over 33 years of comprehensive experience in the commercial construction industry. Randy’s career in construction began in 1986 as a Construction Service Manager but his hard work and dedication quickly saw him move forward to Superintendent to Senior Project Manager to Director of Construction. He is currently the Project Executive for the W. L. Butler Southern California office located in Irvine.
Randy takes great pride in his commitment to excellence and his dedication to his team. One of Randy’s most important roles is that of a mentor to his team members, his greatest strengths being his ability to build strong high-performing teams and motivating the people around him to do their very best. Randy describes himself as someone who works best within a team, someone who works well under pressure, and someone who loves his work. When asked what he considered his greatest career accomplishment, Randy stated that it was being a part of a team that was twice recognized by Target Corporation as Contractor of the Year.
Randy is not only dedicated to his team and to the products that he helps to create, but he also displays a strong dedication to his community. He has volunteered hundreds of hours and has contributed to organizations such as The Make A Wish Foundation, Donate Life, Toys for Tots, Kids Day, Target’s Heart of America and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
